                                                            Finding You


You were along ways off.
Then you disappeared and I didn't think I would ever see you again.
My friend said to forget you, that there were others.
Still as I walked along the road I kept my eye out for anything that might resemble you.
Suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw something red-I blinked.
I walked faster and for a moment you stood in the middle and looked down the road but it seemed you were looking beyond me.
I stopped-turned.
I didn't see anything.
When I turned back to you, you had disappeared-perhaps forever.
