JEWELED FAIRIES
POEM
I know you like to come
out at night.
Especially after a rain.
You gather the rain
droplets off my roses.
You like my messy garden.
Lots of places to hide.
You twinkle like the
fireflies but only brighter and of course much prettier.
Sapphire, ruby and jade--just
to name a few.
BUTTERFLY FAIRIES
POEM
You flutter in my garden,
You like to blend
yourself in with the other butterflies so I can’t see.
You like to flutter by me and make me take a second
look.
You probably giggle.
You like to sun yourself on my zinnia and daisies.
I see you.
